How to top-up / make a payment into your STss Wallet Account

Various payment methods are available to you.

The recommended payment option is an EFT payment as an EFT payment does not attract additional charges. A standard EFT takes 2 - 4 days to reflect on your Wallet account.

An Instant EFT can be made via the App. Instant EFTs carry a charge of 1.75% of the value of the transaction.

On the STss Wallet, select "Top Up Wallet". Select "Instant EFT Payment" from the list. The scheme's banking details will be displayed on screen. Please send proof of payment from your bank directly to STss using the email address displayed on screen: Your-Ref-Num@proofofpayments.co.za (Do not select Instant EFT on your banking system - this attracts an additional fee.)

Our system will receive the proof of payment from your bank and will process the information and allocate the EFT payment within 10 minutes of you making the payment.

You can also make a Credit/Debit Card payment, but please note that this payment option has a fee of 3% of the payment.
